Dr. Brook on Glenn Beck-Chrysler

News Bits

Chrysler filed for bankruptcy, some details are below. It's been said that bankruptcy is a second chance for the company, but they've done it before. Why can't they seem to stand on their own two feet? Here's my opinion: the union has cannibalized the company, the government won't get the hell out of the way, and Fiat will rue the day they agreed to this deal. Chrysler is dead.

Chrysler to file for bankruptcy in New York, Fiat to take 20% stake in reorganized company
- GMAC to provide the financing for new Chrysler car loans.

What? Huh? Why?

The CEO of Walmart says Easter sales were up. The consumer is spending (since gas prices are down and payroll taxes were cut). Old Volker, now advising the White House administration says no more stimulus is needed, no important banks will fail and inflation won't be a problem for several years. The Bank of America shareholders voted back in all of the Board of Directors. Everyone is calling a bottom in the stock market, in housing, and in the economy.

Are We All Extremists Now?

Rep. Hoekstra, top Republican on the House Intelligence Committee, asks Director of National Intelligence to investigate the DHS report which, summed up below, makes the vast majority of Americans "extremists."

Ayn Rand notes in her 1964 essay, “Extremism, or the Art of Smearing”:

Give Me Liberty

Patric Henry's speech (with some background). Read the whole speech, please! Most already know the end of it.

Following the Boston Tea Party, Dec. 16, 1773, in which American Colonists dumped 342
containers of tea into the Boston harbor, the British Parliament enacted a series of Acts in
response to the rebellion in Massachusetts.

In May of 1774, General Thomas Gage, commander of all British military forces in the colonies,
arrived in Boston, followed by the arrival of four regiments of British troops.

The American Form of Government

This is a fairly good video on why our Constitution is unique and worth fighting for.
The American form of government, something not taught in school anymore.

Second American Revolution

These two articles were written by Michael Shedlock and Karl Denninger. They just happen to sum up the two biggest issues that are facing our country right now: Taxation and fraud. Our elected government officials apparently don't have two brain cells to rub together and corruption is running rampant. Innundate your legislators with phone calls, emails, and faxes. Please attend a "Tea Party" in your area. It's up to the citizens of this country to save our Constitution. We must not fail. I truly believe we are at the beginning of the Second American Revolution.
